We are honored to have you on the Board of Directors of the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired South Carolina. Our mission is to empower individuals who are blind and low vision to live fulfilling, purpose-driven lives, and our vision is for all blind and visually impaired individuals to have the opportunity to live, learn and earn.
Your support and strategic guidance help us to meet the needs of our community. We are one of the only principal resources for people who are blind or low vision in our state, and we help individuals fully integrate into our schools, communities and workplaces. We accomplish this by:

• Providing quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
• Creating, fostering and sustaining a climate of opportunity for individuals who are blind and low vision, so they are able to set and reach their personal, educational and professional goals.
• Collaborating with medical and social service organizations.
• Continuing to have a robust and innovative fundraising program to support our vision.
