Greater Chapin Community Foundation (GCCF), an affiliate of Central Carolina Community Foundation (CCCF), awarded $22,975 to 26 nonprofit organizations serving the greater Chapin area this year.

Funded by and for residents of its community, GCCF is a permanent endowment dedicated to strengthening the region through philanthropy. These grants will go towards a range of community needs, from health and wellness, youth development, arts and culture, education and foster care.

“We are incredibly excited to see the impact that this year’s grants will have across the Chapin community,” said Joe Perritt, GCCF Board Chair. “The funding that these organizations are receiving are going to allow them to do more of the meaningful, hands-on work that they do so well, and it’s great to know these dollars are going straight to the causes that uplift the community,” Perritt said.

The Greater Chapin Community Foundation Board of Trustees selected the following nonprofits and projects as fiscal year 2026 grant recipients:

  • American Legion Post #193
  • Chapin Palmetto Boy’s State
  • Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired SC
