We have Certified Vision Specialists who provide training in assistive technology, orientation and mobility, skills for daily living and much more to empower adults with low vision or blindness to achieve their independence goals. Activities of Daily Living

Develop adaptive, independent living skills such as medication management, personal self-care, home and kitchen safety, and much more!

Assistive Technology

Learn how to use assistive technology devices and software to access computers, tablets, mobile devices, and more.


Orientation and Mobility

Gain skills for safe and independent travel in the home and community. Techniques may include using a long white cane, human guide, route-planning, and riding public transportation.

Low Vision Services

Acquire skills to restore daily function and independence for individuals living with vision loss. Training includes strategies to improve ability to read, write, watch tv and check mail using low vision devices.

Equipment

Individuals experiencing low vision may attain assistive devices through the online store or through the iCanConnect program.

Client Connections

Connect with other clients through small group activities, webinars, and other events.


Braille

Study braille reading and writing, including community signage.
